PostSubject: Summer Camp   Sat Jun 14, 2008 11:14 pm

Summer camp is a week long excursion in the elements. Scouts will have the opportunity to begin/complete merit badges, both elective and Eagle required. We will be going to Camp Davy Crockett in Rogersville TN. The car ride up there will take upwards of 14 hours, and we will be making an overnight stop at a YMCA in Knoxville TN on our trip up there.

We will be departing the Bruno's parking lot in Spanish Fort, AL at 06:00 AM on Saturday, 21 June, 2008. You should be there around 05:30AM. YOU MUST BRING YOUR BREAKFAST UP THERE THAT MORNING, AS WE WILL NOT STOP FOR BREAKFAST. Class A Uniforms are REQUIRED for the car ride to and from camp. Bring your iPods, game boys, personal DVD players, etc, for the car ride, as its going to be LONG and BORING. Also, be advised that you should bring a nice snack and a drink in a container that can be closed (No soda cans). We will try to make multiple bathroom stops on the way.
